The Heartbeat of the Studio Behind the scenes

At Hook & Vine Some days in the studio look like quiet focus and clean lines. Knots lined up in perfect rhythm. Materials laid out with care. A mug of something hot, the mountains watching through the windows.
And then there are days like this. A little wild one, tucked into a vintage chair, tablet in hand, little legs swinging freely. A black lab stretched across the rug like he pays rent. The sound of cartoons mixed with the soft rustle of leaves from the hanging plants nearby. And the scent of rain in the air—because of course it’s one of those misty North Idaho mornings that feels like time has slowed down just for you.
This is the real behind-the-scenes of Hook & Vine. Because while the brand was built to reimagine how plant hangers function, it was also born from a home.
A home where life happens in between the work. Where a kiddo wanders in looking for snacks or snuggles, and the dog claims every sun-warmed spot like it was made for him.
This space isn’t always tidy. It’s not always quiet. But it’s layered with intention, joy, chaos, and creativity—all the things that make a home feel alive.
It’s in moments like these that I’m reminded why Hook & Vine exists: To create with purpose. To design pieces that work with your life—not against it. To make functional beauty for the spaces that hold your stories. Because whether you’re a plant collector, a parent, a dog lover, a dreamer, or a little bit of all the above—this brand was made for the way you actually live, and created to visually reflect that.
From my studio to your home,
